Hard to tell with my monitor which one, but I agree with Brandi. If you have the dreaded 4" backsplash, probably do not need tile behind it. Scrubable paint will probably serve you best.

Yeah. The 4 inch granite is already installed in the desk area but not on the main kitchen counters. We were planning on not doing tile in the desk area, but if we do we would probally remove the small granite backsplash and replace it with subway tile. I just posted a pic of the tile next to the granite to give a good idea of what the tile looks like next to the granite

In that case, probably #2, 3 or the last one.

What did you end up going with? I would love to see a picture! I am doing my cabinets in SW Alabaster as well, and I'm trying to figure out the backsplash.

I just Got cabinets painted alabaster and they look so beige to me. Not white. Your combo looks beautiful so it gives me hope that with right countertops and backsplash it will work

Agreed. Mine are very yellowy looking. Disappointed I chose Alabaster

And if your other finishes are more of a white white or gray white it won’t look right, with alabaster need an off white that is warm, but not cream, and not a cool white white or gray white.

I do have white appliances with mine, but since the counter and backsplash relate well to the alabaster, I don’t mind. I wanted a slightly warmer white, i didn’t like the cold looking white whites and gray whites. So for me it works very well.

We did Alabaster and are happy with it. Have our LEDS set at 3000k. Boa no Antico

I would love to see pics from all of you who did alabaster on cabinets!! There were so many directions to go with backsplashes. I just stuck with my original boring “vision” of all slightly off white.

I am thinking of doing Alabaster uppers and lower gray. I’m starting to think it’s too creamy after reading all these posts. I have my new counters Bianco Romano and backsplash is Chloe white which is actually variations of white and light gray. I will send before Painting. I’m wondering if I should use Snowbound. I will send pictures getting painted in a couple weeks.

I have been set on alabaster because my floors are more warm and ajoining walls soft sand in living room. I plan on painting walls agreeable grey, in kitchen with white ceiling. Left is snowbound and right is alabaster which looks more creamy in evening, daytime looks more white. Last picture is an inspiration as I want mindful gray for lowers , although I dont need the bright white either. Thank you 🤦‍♀️

I see what you mean about the floor. Snowbound is still in the off white category, it’s not a white white. I’m very familiar with both. I have alabaster on my cabinets and snowbound on some doors and trim.

Is your existing trim more creamy? That may be a bigger factor if you don’t plan on changing it. I would balance out between the backsplash and the existing trim. If alabaster does that, then go with that! But if your existing trim can work with snowbound, personally I still think snowbound for the uppers in your case. Which do you think goes best with your backsplash?? I think with the grays in your backsplash and counter you will be happier with snowbound. And with your plan for the walls.. But like I said the trim needs to be considered.

The gray lowers will be next to the floor so that will offset the feeling you have of the cabinets being too white.

The back of those paint cards are probably white white..,compare snowbound to that and you‘ll see it’s a nice soft off white.

i think alabaster might go too dingy with all those grays!!

That is so helpfu! my trim is Swiss coffee and will stay the same. i will take the trim into consideration which I really wasnt. Do you think agreeable gray and white ceiling will look good? Thank you for helping

I think I’m leaning towards snowbound as I think your right with the tone. It’s funny you mentioned the chairs I actually just got them to go with counters as my old ones were gold and black lol. Yeah your probably right chairs don’t match alabaster! 😄

I’m pretty sure Swiss coffee is creamy! But really I think you want to be more forward thinking and make sure what you pick goes best with the new counter and backsplash at this point! I think you’re heading in the right direction, yes it all will look fabulous. And agreeable gray and white ceiling will be great!
