yes, mine is painted the door color.

its called an astragal, by the way. its attached to the door that opens inward to cover the crack between the doors. there is another on the outside of the other door for the same purpose i expect.

Thank you! I had a feeling that it's supposed to be painted. The outside of the door is about an inch thick and looked like a piece of trim, that's why I didn't paint it.

I hate when it is painted trim color, especially on red doors.
