Need tips on painting a bathroom vanity

Hello all,
I've searched the internet and I've read so much conflicting advise about painting the vanity (it's two cabinets and smallish). I've already run through the three steps up through the primer. Next is actually painting them.

I'm really nervous. I've painted before, but never this delicate sort of job. I've read that I should use a mohair brush, matte paint, etc., but I don't know what steps to take in actually painting these. Do I go up and down? Make an M or W? Where do I use the mohair roller as opposed to the brush?

I want to avoid sagging, streaking, and just nastiness.

If you could link videos or give your advice, I would love that. Thankfully, they don't have any grooves or anything like that in them. Cabinet door is just a slab or real wood.

Also looking for color suggestions. An off-white, creamy color would be great.
