What color is the Quartz countertop?

Hi Elle! I just uploaded a picture. It's white with some grey veining throughout.

If you're selecting quartz for it's durability (at least in part), a marble backsplash might not be for the best. While counters take more abuse, backsplashes aren't immune to stains, particularly behind the stove.

i'm having second thoughts about how it will look more than anything. I am planning to have them sealed. Is there another backsplash you would recommend?

That turned out great! Do you have other pics? What countertop and backsplash do you have? The tiles look smaller than 3x6. Also is it Calcutta vs Carrara?

What is the quartz brand and color please?

We just redid our kitchen using a similar color Quartz (Cambria in Torquay) and used Marazzi Midpark mosaic tile in Rainstorm in the rectangle shape. We love it!

Thank you, I'm very happy with it too! We downsized into an open concept condo - which means the kitchen is front and centre. The counter is Zodiaq Cloud White and the backsplash is Olympia Polished Milky Way. The tiles are small and installed in a brick pattern.

Trying to match or compliment your particular Quartz is not as easy as it may sound as the veining is subtle in tone but busy with pattern. It doesn't have the same flow in the veins as actual Carrera or Calacatta marble so pairing it with subway in either would be a mistake. Therefore, why not add a shapely white tile backsplash instead? Perhaps something interesting such as this... You could even use a grey grout that matches the vein color in your Quartz to make the backslash more dramatic.

@Leanne makes a good point above. I think an intentionally different tile look will be better for you (and make you less crazy than trying to match it). If you really want the back splash to match, you might need to bite the bullet and use quartz slab up the wall as well.

I am planning for counters like yours and am thinking I will go with a glass and metal bamboo tile but will put it in the waterfall pattern.

The countertop is omega stone carrera veneto, it's a builder grade option so it's not as well known as some of the other Quartz brands. The pics I took are from one of the model homes. I'm a little hesitant to do the glass linear mosaic or colored subway tile because it's a little more modern than I'd like to go but I do want something that reflects light. Do you think if I went with a smaller tile like babs0507 or a marble glass mosaic mix that would work with my counters?

Perhaps something like this... Because of the angle cuts in the material it reflects light beautifully. This particular tile is gold and white however there are many variations in shapes and color combinations to choose from. I do enjoy the classic take on t1he design rather than basic subway. You'd get longevity from a design such as this where as the linear glass and metal mosaic is a bit too modern and trendy.

Maybe just have a smaller tile...giving it more interest and texture...less likely to compare Quartz veins to Marble veins. 1/2" Random Length Carrera and Bianco Marble blend backsplash.

This Quartz is similar to yours...they paired it with a marble tile called MERAM BLANC from the tile shop.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I like the marble look but don't want to force it if it won't look good when everything comes together and of course I only have very small samples from the builder to compare everything. Kjoy1 - I had the same idea that if I use smaller tiles you wouldn't notice the variance as much so I may explore that as an option. But the meram Blanc looks pretty close to my polished subway tile and it doesn't look bad - so that is reassuring.

What did you end up going with? I agree a veiny quartz wouldn't look right with a veiny marble. Would love to see how it turned out!
