I am working on designing a kitchen for s new house. Houzz has been very helpful but the trend seems to be a totally open concept- almost like a loft apartment design. I realize this trend may change at any time but for now that is all I am seeing in the pictures. I like to be in the kitchen and be able to see into the living area but I would like some sort of divider so I do not need to look at dirty dishes when I am entertaining my guests at dinner or catching a movie after dinner. Any suggestions or photos?
