I would go with a lighter colored floor than a dark floor like a friend suggested. Dark floors will show everything much faster like lint, dirt, and everything else. If you are wanting to add color to the shower stall, I say go with a pretty color like aqua or turquoise. Gray and white are also neutrals and if you do your bathroom in only neutrals, it's going to look OK but will not have the "wow" factor. Here are some ideas on Houzz:

I'm not suggesting tiling your entire shower stall and bathroom with this tile. I believe a strip of this alongside your neutral tile would be beautiful!

What color are you planning for your vanity? That makes a difference...a light floor with a light vanity will blend, where if you have a darker vanity with a lighter floor, you will have contrast which will be more dramatic and probably look better. But if you are using a white or lighter vanity, I'd go with dark floors. I have light gray floors and I love them, they don't show dirt or hair...

I like the light blue on the walls. The picture you liked most also has a darker floor than the walls. I am planning to have a lighter colored vanity.

I don't know much about design. I try to see something I like and then follow it. Here are a few I like.

My has uses mostly neutral beige colors.

I really like the light blue walls, but I don't have to have them.

I tend to stray from dark flooring since it shows every single piece of lint or fiber, hair etc. I think a middle of the road color is better if you can find a look you love.

Ditto on staying away from dark floors. I had a friend who used an almost black floor in a bathroom and it showed EVERYTHING, even the sole pattern from dusty sneakers. A nightmare to keep clean!

I oppose a dark floor for you because the space is so small.

This is not the time to think about wall color. Choose tile and countertop first. It is a small room so I suggest you repeat some of the surfaces. For example, The floor tile being the same as the shower walls. I like this color.

Thanks for the help. I am looking at using the Time 2.0 tile. Evidentially this is more of a commercial tile. I am thinking I may be on the wrong track by using this tile because I am afraid the bathroom is going to look industrial. Am I correct about this thought, or is it just me? Thanks!

Looking at your inspiration photos, the tiles all have more "life" to them than what you are planning to use. I would revisit your selections and look at more tiles that capture the feeling you want.
