Faucet does not tighten on a stainless steel sink

The faucet moves around too much mounted on a stainless steel sink. I had it professionally installed and it moves far too much. Is there a solution you recommend otherwise I would like to return the faucet because it did not say a specific type of sink it needed to be mounted on.
