Wolf range and Zephyr Tornado clearances

I want to install the Zepher Tornado I range hood 26" over my 36" Wolf Range. This is in the range for the hood, but the range suggests a min clearance over it at 30". This is either going to destroy my horizontal lines of the horizontal upper cabs (if I have to move the hood up) or will put my uppers up far too high. I need help ASAP since we are wiring the kitchen this week.
