Even sempervivums would benefit from better mix - they are all succulents, and well draining mix is the best. Sempervivums are hardy and should grow outdoors year round.

Yes, I know I need to vary the mix--they've been doing so well, I've been reluctant to repot. The pot does have good drainage but we've had a lot of rain lately and they are outside. But I will get some grittier/sandier mix next garden store stop. I want the pups to get a good start, too. I cut the two biggest and waiting for them to dry a couple days.
