Need help with my Kitchen

last modified: 10 years ago

I recently started my reno on my kitchen. The cabinets were an orange oak color. Well made so I decided to keep them and stain them Espresso, which turned out well and I am happy with it. My tiles floors are a pale white. The problem is my new dry bar. I chose to go with an off white cabinet styled as my originals but with a gray quartz counter. My thought was to make it it's own entity but to somehow make it cohesive with the kitchen as it is right next to it. I am trying to find a paint color to bring it together but I am stumped and feeling I made a huge mistake with the new counter top. (I did not want to change my original countertop and did not think I could match it but it has a lot of the same gray color in it). I could stain the new cabinets if necessary. To further complicate thing, my house is an open floor plan so you can see a change in paint color from room to room. Help!
