We need to replace six windows along the front of our recently purchased post-war bungalow. Each window is 39" wide X 54" high. Given the wooden interior would the white of vinyl be too much contrast? How do we decide whether to make some fixed and some operable? What mullions (how many and size). We've been using electrical tape to try and get a sense of what it could look like. Should we consider other materials? Can the two corner windows be slightly different in style?

The interior space is 11 feet wide and 14 feet long in the living area and about 9 by 9 in the dining area. Sorry some of the pictures are so dark. The space really doesn't feel dark! Any ideas would be most appreciated!
