Hello and thank you for your question. All the windows in this renovated
classic mid-century modern house originally by architect Fred Hollingsworth are
clad it stained fir. The darker looking wood is original to the house, so
has acquired more of a patina over time. Wood casings are a good choice
as they can be both modern and warm when done as simply as we did them here.
