Right now, I have an ice cream growing in a huge pot and it's also fruiting now. Unfortunately, the fruit is scanty .. I'm only getting 4 fingers. I have tried planting it to the ground for several years, but it did not ever once bloom for me until when I dug it out and planted it in a pot.

Anyways, it looks like you're going to enjoy some delicious ice cream bananas soon (though I haven't tasted one and I'm curious to taste one myself).

Mine grew like a weed but the fruit was pasty and not very sweet. I pulled it and replaced it with some dwarf varieties.

I've been told that many Ice Cream banana's are actually a type called Namwa. It makes even smaller but sweet banana's. I don't know. I've read that Ice Cream and Blue Java are the same and not once they did explain why Ice Cream has no blue skin,so why is it the "same?"
