The loudness is a matter of personal preference, but our sinks are much quieter than stainless steel sinks of this size. The thickness and molecular structure of work hardened copper dampens sounds from the sink, but if you have problems with a noisy sink you can always apply sound dampening pads or material under the sink, it won't damage the metal.
