Hoping all you GW kitchen designers can help me with selecting countertop colour. Part of kitchen installed today - BM Simply White Cabinets; SS appliances; reclaimed hemlock floors (attached pic mid install, won't be as red), walls & ceiling BM Cloud White.

9'W x 4"D Island and 7'6W x 8"H Beverage Unit arriving end of week - will be BM Deep Silver Distressed raised panel...both these units have reclaimed hemlock countertops. Kitchen sink in the Island. Hardware - leaning towards Emtek Medium Bronze

Had selected Caesarstone Fresh Concrete 4001 but seems to fall flat now that I see my sample in our space with simply white cabinets. Also, read many negative reviews on the honed caesarstone.

This is a new build cottage - typical open concept GR/DR/Kitchen....going for casual, relaxed, not serious French farmhouse feel. Open to suggestions - doesn't have to be Caesarstone, however want to stay away from marble countertop. No final decision on backsplash or range hood as yet - waiting to see all pieces in place before making those decisions cause I just don't know!

Attached some pics to give you an idea of the space & colours. Appreciate any help you can give me ...suffering from build brain! Countertop template done today & they want my final choice. A big thanks to GW Community!
