Also, Does Indian Summer stay that color? Gorgeous! And what of Creme Caramel? Does it stay more tan/creme or go more yellow? I love love apricots and tanish tones so much!

It's of really pretty ones Sharlene. Love the florist rose you grafted on rootstock. Sooooo pretty!! Can't wait for my Lavender Ice to bloom like that. It's bloomed twice and just sitting there about 6 inches tall. Lol

Judy, have had my three Lavender Ice for a couple of seasons now and they are still small but have gotten bushier and this is the first season that they have bloomed well - they hardly did anything the first season.

I love the lavender grafted florist rose with the pinkish edges. I am so impressed that you did that.

Your 'Indian Summer' is gorgeous when it does the pink and orange blend. Lotsa lovelies here.

Love your roses! My favorites are the lavender florist rose that looks like my Nicole Carol Miller & Huddesfield Choral Society. I hope my tiny Charles de Gaulle grows up to look like yours!

Irisgal, I grafted the lavender florist rose in 2014 so it has survived two winters which I never expected - still really chuffed. Grafting isn't difficult you should give it a go.

Ann, I truly hope Huddersfield makes it over to the States - it has met all my expectations. Charles de Gaulle is only in its second season here, so also not that big yet and a little stingy on the blooms but the colour and scent make up for that. Maybe the second flush will be better - have a couple of new shoots.

Wow really gorgeous blooms as always Sharlene!! I hope to try some grafting myself maybe in the fall after these triple digits go away. I lost my CHERRY BRANDY that I got from Carltons yrs ago. I see it at Safeway's florist dept all the time, so one of these days I'll have to try it. I always love seeing your ALTE LIEBE. Heirloom used to list it with the roses they got from Cliff's EuroDesert Roses, but I don't even see it as a custom order anymore. Must not've done well or they lost the mother plant. Bummer. I got CREME CARAMEL from Pickering the last yr they shipped to the US. Haven't seen a bloom in a few yrs. It's in one of my oddball beds and that one was all overgrown with weeds and underplantings that got out of control. We just got part of it cleaned out and I hope to see that rose perk up and do something now!! It's a really gorgeous tannish-beigey rose. Man I miss Pickering....

I looked up Crème Caramel and it is superb. It would have been perfect with my mom's living room.

Tried grafting a plucot. No go. Found out nobody in that workshop had success. I've stayed away from any kind of grafting since. I should think you'd be chuffed. What a lovely to have.
