Before proceeding with the "pretty part" please address the issue with your front porch and stairs.

Color is a real personal statement, so why not work on building your ideabooks with craftsman color combos to get a sense of what palette your preference is (i.e. Darker tones, brighter VS subdued etc.) otherwise you will get a bunch of suggestions that just may not work for you. It helps to know what the neighboring houses are as well so you don't blend in, disappear or worse - stick out like a sore thumb. This requires some careful consideration and more information as well.

Oh gosh, paint can be anything you like! For a craftsman with the kind of details you have, I'd choose three, one for the base color, one for the trim and one for the tiny details, such as the drip board around the bottom of the house, the very bottom of the porch posts, and perhaps the very inside of the window trim.

Build a nicer railing for your front porch, and sand blast the paint off the brick fireplace, too. Play up the details, but in a subtle way.

Hi Ryker, I agree with looking online. I just did a quick search for "Seattle craftsman houses" and found some great ideas. Right off the bat I can see a gorgeous sage green with a soft white trim, but look and see what appeals to you.
