i think the blue siding is great maybe just add more decor outside such as flowers( go for a brighter flower scheme tho such as bright pink(peach) and purple and white

I would try seeing what it looks like with the pediment over both the large window and the door to the right of it.

Love the mock up I am a lover of glass the more the better IMO I would make the deck larger with a wide walkway and steps down to the water with some landscaping along the walkway, maybe even widen the deck at the water for a couple of adirondack chairs. I lke simple pure design so I would not have a pediment at all.

HI- All I see are lots of white vertical lines and white window frames .... too much visual clutter I think . Make some of the bigger windows full store front style picture windows instead of divided units .I think that would be a cleaner less cluttered modern look. The little roof peak does not look right and isn't needed .

I like your design but the question should be, how does it look from the inside and function (ex need wall space, etc.).

Groveraxle is on the right track. Cleaner, more contemporary. Blue with white windows too fussy Imo.

How much money do you have?

Also, would consider walk out grey Roman paver patio, across entire expanse of the single storey wing. Minimal maintenance, and it would allow you to have softer outer edge than a deck, plus no rodents or insects making homes under it ;) Large, neutral colored pots (concrete are great), with shrubs, annuals, grasses etc would help visually soften and punctuate the patio, without blocking views to the water.
