Personally, I don't like hidden things - otherwise, they go unused...
...however there are better fixtured than the cheap builder-beige specials you have in your photo.

Consider Lutron outlets, lightswitches and dimmer controls - which come in a while range of colors - or even just simple white outlets, but with brushed chrome faceplates to match the hardware of your kitchen.

How did you hide the outlet? Looks great. Is that a piece of granite covering a recessed outlet? How would you access it when you need to use it?
