Thank you Judy! Where sofa is set now on the rug, there is 87" to front of console. Since it's a small, open floor plan house, I have limited room to back the sofa up without it feeling like it's in the kitchen, but I do have a couple more inches of wiggle room. I was also looking at the 60" rectangle, but don't want my white chairs to feel like they're floating and not part of the room arrangement, if that makes sense?

That is a huge ottoman, and I think it is too big for the space you're showing. The 53" long is fine, however, the 53" wide is too much, however, I see why you love it.

I think it's too big for the space - leaves very little walking room between the ottoman and the couch, and ottoman and entertainment unit. I think like it'll feel "blocky" and take over the room. I would confider getting two smaller ottomans/accent tables, possibly round ones, and putting them side by side. Or maybe just one round ottoman, smaller in diameter than what you're showing in the picture. Just my opinion, of course. Cheers! P.S. Your pup is adorable! Love the clean, modern look you've got going! From a Feng Shui perspective, consider traffic flow and sight lines which allow energy to flow free. The lay out of your furniture already creates a square--great for conversations. My great room layout is similar for that reason. However, fill in the middle with a large boxy shape and it creates a point of stagnation. One or two round ottomans (jenna's suggestion) or an oval shaped coffee table allows easier passage in and out of your space.

The 5 elements you want in any room for balance are metal, earth, air, water and fire. You already have wood in your console. The taupe colored sofa is earth. Candles on the console are fire. You have silver/metal legs on your chairs for water and metal. Great job! You might want to lighten up the dark feel with the TV and console by changing out the console' hardware to silver. Or change your candle holders to silver/mirrored.

If you want to create more excitement you could split the two white chairs and position across from each other (the one by the hallway closer to the console wall. Pair them with their own side table and your guests have easy-to-reach spots for food/drink. Make them metal tables with mirrored tops and you add more water and metal. Mirrored tops are also great for reflecting more light in your space (I don't see many lamps.

The end result, a cozy, without being cramped, entertaining/relaxing space. You're also making it easier for energy to flow to the sliding glass door. Right now the two chairs side by side act like a wall blocking it.

The straight back chair could return to your kitchenette, until needed for overflow seating.
