I use Sprayway cleaner. It's great and has no ammonia or bleach, smells like vanilla and I use it on windows, marble, quartz, tile, painted wood. The only thing I don't use it on is stainless steel.

Laticrete Stonetech Sealers is the way to go. They have a product called Revitalizer which can be used as an every day cleaner. I use this product on all of our counter tops once a week. Helps bring back the luster of the stone and has a built in sealer to protect the stone and current sealer on the stone. I believe there are 3 scents to choose from: natural, cucumber and citrus. This product is formulated for all natural stone. Will not etch or cause a haze. Highly recommended.

I know this is an old post but I have a question, the Revitalizer comes in a "citrus" I thought you can't use citrus. It also doesn't list Quartzite. I'm looking for a spray for my quartzite as well. I am not just using soap and water and a damp cloth will not help with germs. I want a cleaner. HELP!

@South Florida Moulding - The Revitalizer comes in a citrus scent, it is not a citrus cleaner. Safe to use on all natural stone products. Quartzite is a natural stone made by mother earth. This product is also safe to use on Quartz, man made products.

I'd be careful with that sealer on leathered quartzite. I can cause an uneven shine.

Each stone is unique because of composition. Whatever cleaners you decide to try, be sure that you test each one in an inconspicuous area of the stone. Because marble contains calcite (and quartzite can also contain this mineral), make very sure that the cleaner you use is formulated for the type of stone you have. We often encourage customers to call in and talk to our technicians so they can determine what kinds of treatments will work best for their specific stone(s).

I have Honed Carrara Marble countertops and I clean them with Windex. Not the windex with vinegar though. The original formula. It works great. I have had no problems using it.

*Almost* finished with our kitchen remodel and we chose a leathered (AKA: honed) quartzite for countertops (that I love). Came across this post as I’m in search of a natural, daily cleaner to use on the countertops that won’t produce a shine or etch them, etc. I see suggestions here but also warnings specifically for the leathered finish. Suggestions? Photo attached.

I have quartzite countertops and I had a hard time finding a specific cleaner to use for it. Found this on Amazon and it does specify that its to be used on quartzite on the bottle. I use this together with windex as a daily cleaner.

I am wondering your thoughts on using a steam cleaner to sanitize quartzite countertops.

Omg, i would probably not do that... use regular soap and warm water And you’ll achieve the same sanitized result...you can even use a bleach free alcohol wipe occasionally if you’re trying to really clean things out. The steam cleaner could cause issues to any resin in your counters, the cabinetry, and who knows what else.

I've been spraying mine with rubbing alcohol and wiping with a paper towel.

I know it says granite but can “Granite Gold daily cleaner“ be used for quartzite?

I have new quartz and new quartzite in my home. What can I clean it with??? I've heard ammonia free Windex is good but I can't find it in stock anywhere? HELP!!

Sprayway cleaner is my favorite mild cleanser for glass, marble, quartz. It has no ammonia or bleach and smells like vanilla. Also non abrasive so it will not scratch.

I have Silestone Quartz countertops and clean them with diluted dish soap with water and at times I also use Mrs. Meyers multi surface cleaners (plant based). I have “Plain & Fancy” gray cabinets and they have specific instructions to only use diluted dish soap and water to clean cabinets with use of micro fiber cloths; and to not use any other type of cleaners. I suggest you contact your cabinet manufacturer to find out the cleaning recommendations. Happy cleaning❣️

You would be surprised what regular water and soap can do. Sanitizes everything and it's available right there at your sink. Nothing created in a lab come closer. IMHO
