We're having trouble figuring out how to get our range hood vent out of our house. The easiest way seems to be to go straight up stairs into my daughters bedroom. We could build her a window seat and then just have the vent to through her floor and right out of the house through the window seat. I doubt we'll use the fan that often, but my fear is that it will be really loud in her room. Do you think this would work? Is there a way to help minimize the sound? I wasn't sure if the sound would be mainly coming through the duct or where the actual hood is right below her room.
