We are getting new siding on our house. It is a 1987 contemporary with cedar siding. We have committed to getting Hardi board siding, but are unsure about design ideas. This is a current photo of our house along with a mock-up design.

I like the idea of mixing the panel and plank siding, but would love to hear what others think of this design. We are planning to use Evening Blue for the plank and Slate Gray for the panel.
