Yellowing marjoram leaves

I have a marjoram plant. It gets six hours of sun each day, and I water it when it needs it, around once every two days (for the past week I've been watering it everyday because it gets it to 87 degrees, and I put my finger an inch into the soil to test if it needs water). I've noticed for about three days that the leaves are slightly yellowing. Not all of them, just a couple scattered across the plant. It had perfect leaves before then. I cut some off to cook with regularly. Am I watering it to much and that's why there turning yellow? Does anybody know why they are turning yellow?
