Cheepchinesecrap. Kohler is 20x better quality. 2K per shower is about average middle of the road costs for hand shower plus with thermostatic valves rather than pressure balancing. Go with Delta and pressure balancing if you want less expensive. Or all Delta. Just no cheepchinesecrap.

For plumbing fittings, I learned early on to stick with established brands--Kohler, American Standard, Moen, Delta, Danze, Price Pfister, Grohe. Not only do they work, but you can easily get replacement parts if needed. I've had customers insist on some European high end, particularly Rubinet. But try and get parts! If it's a quick restoration for resale, I will go for some cheaper offshore items that look good and last a few years.

I learned about them through a famous blogger who documented her kitchen reno. I went to check the site and the prices were reasonable. Also many finishes were available. So I bought some of our fixtures there. The customer service was great too.

Well if the worse comes to worse-we'll have to buy new ones. Lol.

They will be much more expensive because I didn't see anything I liked within the price range that seemed reasonable to me. Including Kohler and Delta

We didn't buy all out fixtures there-just the vanity faucets, and the tub one.

Everything in the shower is Kohler, Delta, and Brizo

The other tub faucets I liked/could see in my space ran minimum as twice as expensive as in SH.

The new place is not ready yet, so it's not that I can attest to their quality, whether it is being okay or not. The water runs. That much I do know.

If you'll need to pass an inspection-it would be wise not to go with SH probably.

The other things that they sell are OK. The (legal) problem is with their faucets, shower heads, stuff like that.

Sounds like they may not meet the lead free requirement... I think that jurisdictions are going to be extra cautious about that.

Yes, I have bought faucets for 3 bathrooms from them and they have been outstanding! I got exceptional customer service, and my plumber was very impressed with the quality. We did this 6 years ago and ZERO problems. I bought a polished chrome faucet set for one bathroom and a Kohler toilet for the same. Upstairs, I bought a polished brass faucet for basin, and taps plus decorative pipes for the antique footed tub. In the master bath, polished nickel faucet for vanity and a gorgeous faucet set the hand shower (polished nickel) for the tub. All are heavy, work smoothly and were a huge savings. My tub set is similar to one by Restoration Hardware but theirs was over $1800 and I paid under $400 for mine. I would buy from them again anytime!

Wow! So much discrepancy! I have had the same results when looking at reviews on the web. Some people have had wonderful experiences, and love the product, and some have had the opposite. Makes one wonder.... what's a girl to do?

I'm seriously considering using them for my tub but not for faucets. For faucets, I'll stick with the main brands.

When I first found their fixtures online, the discrepancy in price made me very leery - you know " If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't",. Then I realized that they are in KY right near the Cincinnati airport, just a bit over an hour from me.

So,I called a friend and asked her if she was interested in a road trip! We went and were blown away. They brought things up front for us to see from the warehouse,. They were heavy and gorgeous - this wasn't some shoddy piece with "the look" but poor quality. They then gave us a tour of the entire place, including the warehouse. I forgot to mention that I also got a washbasin for one bath with chrome legs/towel bars. They showed me the rods from which these are custom cut - again, very heavy, high quality. I love that wash basin and it was a steal compared to similar one from Restoration Hdwr.

The company was started by a Cincinnati plumber who was tired of having to tell owners of lovely old houses, that their worn out vintage fixtures would have to be replaced with modern ones. He took a few faucets to a manufacturer and asked if they could reproduce them for him with a big minimum order. They did, and it just grew. When one does minimal advertising and does not have middle men distributors, prices can be lower.

I would never hesitate to buy from them again. I got the look and the quality I wanted at a reasonable price.

I bought a large stone sink from them and it looks lovely. We have been using it for 3 months and so far so good. It was very reasonable in price too.

Their customer service is very good. However, I had lots of problems with a free standing tub filler leaking. Also, the finishes on the bathroom faucets is not holding up well, but we do live close to the ocean.

For a shower, I used one of their handheld shower bars with thermostatic and control valves from Hansgrohe Axor line. That has seemed to work well. Their stainless steel showerhead leaks some times and is rusting around the hole openings.

I do love my freestanding tub from them in resin (a matte finish) and would not hesitate to recommend them for that. I cannot speak for their acrylic tubs.

I have sinks from them, but I would not purchase 2 for the same bathroom again as the color may be slightly off. These were resin sinks with several shipments back and forth to get the colors right.

My friend purchased a vanity from them and has been very happy! It is beautiful and has soft close drawers. In fact, I think it looks much better than a lot of leading name brand vanities.

For our new build, I am sticking with name brands but we are keeping our freestanding tub from Signature Hardware.

anyone able to let me know how their SH faucets lasted?

It's been four years of constant use (have them only in the master. doule vanity and tub) .don't want to jinx it, but so far so good.

While I have not order a Signature Hardware faucet, Ferguson sells their tubs. If Ferguson stands behind them, they must be alright. All of our tubs (Master and Guest bath) will be Signature.

Ferguson owns Signature is what or Ferguson rep told us. Warrant is good and we are using their tub and faucets. Time will tell.

I've used their farmhouse sinks for many of my clients. They're beautiful, well-made, well-packaged and well-priced.

I’m considering mixing kohler polished nickel shower system with SH polished nickel sink fixtures. Are the finishes close? There is no SH near me.

I used polished nickel -Kohler shower in bath, SH faucets on vanity and tub. Finishes are very close, yes, at least in my case.

I’ve been using their farm sinks and vanity sinks for years. Absolutely love, love, love them. Quality is outstanding and well-priced. Yes, they are now owned by Fergusen, my chosen faucet supplier. I have never bought faucets from Signature. Yet.

Looking to order a double vanity from them for our remodel it’s 3k and I’m worried. Wife loves it and she’s adamant it’s the one she wants or nothing, so happy to see some of these good reviews

Many of the bad review for SH seem to be for faucets/valves. We purchased thermostatic HansGrohe valves, just considering SH for tubs. Any one have comments on their tubs?

I was about to purchase SH faucets, but will move on to another brand certified lead-free, and not made in China. If we moved the manufacturing back stateside, we wouldn't have to worry about any of this nonsense. Nothing from China that can be consumed, or that aids in consumption, can be trusted. Period.

I heard from a Ferguson employee that Kohler makes many of the facucts now for Signature.

The signature hardware faucets used to be called mirabella and it was owned by Ferguson and still is. I am doing a master bath now and I ordered Kohler and every box said made in China wanted arrived.

After reading through all these comments, I was concerned about the quality of SH. I looked up the spec sheet on the faucet I am interested in buying and it has the following certifications:

NSF/ANS I61

NSF/ANSI 372

ICC/ANSI A117.1

This covers, among other things: lead free, safe for drinking, supply fittings.

In fact, they address lead free specifically in their FAQs:

" All Signature Hardware kitchen and bathroom sink faucets are compliant with lead regulations determined by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). This includes NSF/ANSI 61 (to meet North American drinking water standards) as well as AB1953 (to meet California drinking water standards). They are safe to use, as required by law, and undergo a rigorous testing and inspection process before being authorized for sale. We are also proud to stand behind our products with our warranty. "

And their faucets have a 25 year warranty.

I couldn't find anything about where they manufacture, but even if assembled here, I'm sure there are parts that come from China. You'll be hard pressed to find an all American made & assembled product of any sort.

Many of the concerning posts were from years past so it looks like SH has made improvements since then. I will go ahead with my plan to purchase faucets for my kitchen reno. Fingers crossed!

Just bought a number of faucets and shower equipment from Signature Hardware.

3. When ordering a shower setup, I noticed they gave me a Miseno diverter valve but all the other parts are Signature hardware. Anyone else experience this?

In our personal experience and based on the views of plumbers we’ve used through the years, Kohler faucets are of the highest quality. Have never had an issue with a Kohler product.

In a substantial renovation of our kitchen, we let the designer on our architect’s team talk us into going with a SH pro-style faucet, her rationale being that the look and quality is nearly as good as Kohler at a lower price point. It looked as good as comparable Kohler products, yes, but the design for use was poor. It was awkward to use and difficult to extend to some areas of the sink. Then, last week, after just 3 months of use, the faucet sprung a leak where the head ties into the extender, spraying water onto the countertop and backsplash.

We ordered a Kohler replacement this morning. No more SH for me. With that said, we have SH bathroom hardware in two renovated bathrooms. We’ll see how they hold up. The bathroom hardware is of simpler design than a pro-style kitchen faucet, with the moving parts and such; so, we hope they hold up.

In any case, we’re going Kohler from here forward. There’s definitely added cost, but you get what you pay for.

I bought a SH free standing cast iron tub. There seems to be a flaw in the design or finish because of staining on the bottom surface. This has been in less than a year. It’s a huge issue. Nothing helps. I’ve never had this problem with any other tub, even old tubs don’t stain like this. I’ll probably end up having to tear that tub out. I’m incredibly disappointed. This will be an expensive fix.

Based on multiple threads on the subject, I'm getting the impression that Signature faucets were cheap crap 7-9 years ago, and are really good ever since Ferguson acquired them, or at least in the past 2-3 years.

I am considering installing a barclay raynor cast iron tub or a signature hardware kateryn bateau cast iron tub in my master bathroom. does anyone have any thoughts- good or bad- on these two tubs?

We bought Signature Hardware faucets for our kitchen and bathroom. There is pitting on the finish on the kitchen (matte black) and the bathroom (brushed nickel) faucets. This started in the first year of ownership. I was hoping to find that we weren't the only people experiencing this, but I haven't seen any other complaints about the finish not holding up.

Sunny Dreamer, I bought Signature drain covers from Build with Ferguson originally in oil rubbed bronze. Within months the finish showed signs of serious scratching and wearing off on, both sides. I loved the "twist nut" on the strainer basket for the older look/style it provided. Hoping I just got an off product, I agreed to receive a replacement. Customer service was terrific and reimbursed me for the cost of the plumber to install. Sadly, same thing. Within months the finish was coming off. I researched and decided a material that does NOT have an applied finish would be best. The Customer Service Rep suggested the copper that would look good with my Pfizer oil rubbed bronze faucet set. Again installed and within months the finish was coming off. WHAT? I said I wanted one that does not have an applied finish. I am in process now to see what can be done. BUT I waited 20 years to redo my kitchen and now that the drain covers have been replaced three times my sink has scratch marks from the plumber. I do not use harsh chemicals (bleach) and only use Bon Ami or Bar Keepers friend cleanser. Customer service has been truly great the products are NOT.
