HI -- You could just hang a fancy mirror over top of the plate mirror . That is a very elegant thing to do now . But yes you need to call a glass company to re-move safely .

Maybe you want to bring a color by professional framing [done over current mirror].... red!? in a finish a little different, like distressed a bit... or with mosaic things...

Hi Everdebz. I have 2 fancy antique mirrors, the one over the fireplace and one in the master bedroom. Not the gold one. I want the gold one over my red cabinet. I want the 2 mirrors over the sinks where the builder mirrors are. Framing would be great, but I don't know what to do with the Venetian art deco mirrors. They were really costly. When I moved here it was like 200 to package the darn things. Otherwise I would love the mosaic things. I am going to do my bath room eventually. I think I need to hire it done....to remove them. I looked on you tube but my hubby isn't much help. He gets upset that I want to fix up anything. We are at opposite ends of the spectrum, I am Felix Unger and he is Oscar Madison. Lol.

Am going to work on art work that I can tomorrow. A looooonnnnggg day.

Hi Everdebz. I suffer from Chronic fatigue syndrome and go to the Stanford University clinic for CFS. They said the med school would make me feel better. It has been about 6 weeks. I am certain they are working. This is the best I have been in 2 years.

Nancy, sorry about CFS. My close relative has something like it, but tests haven't showed it. Seems I heard Epstein-Barr, etc... but I don't want to talk "medical" if it's not 'invited'.... :)

I am curious, how they are helping you? It's actually my brother and it's a serious problem in his life right now. He doesn't stay up all the time, but lots of time in bed.

Everdebz, yes the cause of this nasty illness is Epstein-Barr. It means we had mono sometime In our life. I never even knew when I had it. I am a type A personality and ran 2 businesses all my life. I never Stopped! Go go go. Then about 3 years ago I got really sick, flu like. Just pushed thru it. I was never right after that. It took 3 years for them to find out what was wrong. I have given more blood than I can think about.it hit a Dr that was good. SHE LISTEN TO ME. It took another year to get in Stanford University in their CFS clinic. They gave me massive amounts of Vitamin D3, Naltrexone , which is used foe drug and alcohol. But they give 4 MG a day not 100 that alcoholic and heroine addicts get. Other things too. A prebiotic that has 10 strains, fish oil. I was not totally bedridden but close. I am up and about now and doing well. I love life again. I feel for your brother. They ruled out other things by testing. Tell him get a good Dr. Important there is a clinic in Texas too. Best of luck. Thank for being on my journey with me. Nancy, I get most updates through my email [that a new post is on] - but it came just now.... How awful / awfully great that you got the help!!! Brother is in Minnesota -- Mayo Clinic perhaps which I'd thought of - but not sure about CFS there, etc......

Good advice on the mirror. Don't need a trip to the ER!! So happy you have gotten good help. You are amazing. I knew you were type A because we are too much alike!! I have a antique cabinet for my antique tea cups (mother started collection I inherited it and added to it of course) and that cabinet is so like the one in your doggie room! Also, you have a picture on your hall bath wall that is sooo me! My great aunt had the same picture, which I inherited, hanging on her bathroom wall FOREVER, it is the one with the little kid back to photographer, and I think black dog, with tail hanging down over water! Love that picture. We are sister's by another Mother!! lol But I don't want the CFS. So far so good. Take care. Flo

Flo it is funny the picture in my bathroom of the girl and dog by the water with his little tail hanging in it. WAS MY MOMS picture. I love it she loved dogs just like me. The next room I put on is going to be the Dog room that we just had built for the 6 fur kids. I will post it tomorrow. Maybe I will get your input on it. Very plain room.
