These are onyx bowls, but any translucent material will do.
They are on a photoelectric motion sensor so they only light up when the room is entered when dark.

The light source is an led array.

Since the array and mock up is proprietary, I am not at liberty to reveal how it is done, but it is something we can do for you if you are interested.
