What style of furniture do you prefer? Traditional? Modern? Contemporary? is this family room? living room? guest room?

Livingroom...contemporary

I love to have a few things of differing heights. Still leaving room to set a drink or food or whatnot. I find that things are more attractive in odd numbers. 3 or 5....etc. Maybe some books, a pretty ceramic bowl, the candle sticks in three levels. Right there it gives you three different types of things. Sometimes I will have the bowl hold some interesting items. (collection of wine corks, or....old skeleton keys. If you want to keep more with a modern and clean (less is more) feel just leave the bowl or cup...whatnot empty. Just my thought.
