We're moving to a new construction that has a neutral starting color we really like and we'll keep in some of the rooms. What we're wondering is, what rooms should stay neutral and what rooms should be painted? Downstairs has an open kitchen/breakfast nook/family room, an office with french doors, and a dining room open to the foyer and access to the kitchen. The home has 5 bedrooms (2 will be guest bedrooms) and a media room off the upstairs hallway (with doors). We'll keep the halls and foyer neutral...but what else should remain neutral? I'd appreciate any links to articles on the topic or just your opinion!
