Do you have those little grout samples that you can insert into your tiles to show what the finished product will look like? I think you need to use those, not go by name (there must be several different whites for instance) or what it looks like in the bag.

I'd probably do a schluter metal edge in a finish that matches your SS appliances and/or drawer hardware.

I don't have the grout samples (didn't know they exist.) The white is polyblend 'Absolute White'.

I guess it's a question of, do I want the grout lines to stand out or blend in with the tiles.

The white would match the cabinets and the background color of the counter. The platinum (sort of a blue-grey) would match the tiles and the floor and the grey in the counter.

Personally I'd say blend in. Tile stores have grout samples that are basically these little narrow pieces that you can slip into the tile or between two tiles to see what the finished product will look like. Ask at your tile supplier.

Platinum is the way I would go. Has a hint of gray to pick up on the tile but light enough to highlight the area.

I would suggest platinum grout- I agree maybe get those little grout swatches to insert in between the tile and do a Schluter metal to match your appliances not the white plastic

I would go with the platinum grout. White would be too stark. The tiles already have a strong pattern.

so just take some grout from those bags and pour it on tile and see which looks better. If you don't want to open the bags, use sugar for the white, you can tint it for the silver. I have done this quite often- amazing how a little sugar can give you a really accurate vision of what is'tgoing to look like.
