What do I have here? Cider to ?

Last year was our first big apple harvest in October 2015. I used my Champion juicer (no press yet) to make cider. One of the batches was in a large plastic jug which I put in beverage refrigerator and left/forgot. 10 months later, I see that the cider has separated into 2 layers with the solids at the bottom and a pale liquid on top. It smells somewhat like nail polish remover. Doesn't taste like fizzy cider or typical brown vinegar either. It was fermenting in the frig for a while and I skimmed the mold stuff off the top in the first month or so, but it has never been at room temp or in glass ( both recommended for vinegar making). No mold in there now either.

What is it? Throw it out? Or is it Apple Jack or some sort of alcoholic thing?
