If it bothers you get it redone if that was what you had a contract for then get what you want. IMO since the ceiling is that color it probably is not the end of the world especially by the time you add stuff to the shelves ,lighting and furniture it probably won’t even be an issue. I would however try to get a bit of money back for the mistake.

Trims should always be the same white as ceiling when white, painters were right and semi gloss gives more depth and is so much easy care. A brighter white gives contrast to your built-ins and it is what you should look for.

So do not worry, it is as it should be and it looks great, congrats on the built-ins !

I agree with the above. I would have use separate crown on your cabinets and those should have been the same color as your cabs, but you may not have made that clear to your painters? Instead, your crown wraps all your cabinets, which is kind of nice. I wouldn't worry about this unless you want your cabs to have their own crown.
