Where to put ironing board in the laundry room?

We're remodeling the laundry room of the home we just bought and I just found out that pre-built cabinets don't accommodate the ironing board. I wanted to put it in the broom closet which measures 60" tall. Unfortunately, my ironing board is 61"! We haven't ordered the cabinets yet, as I look for solutions. I really don't want to leave it in view. Thank you for any ideas you can share!

    Not sure how wide your ironing board is, but you may also be able to make your own secret cabinet to hang your current board in the wall studs.
