Love the light! What is the total height with the downtrodden?

It seems the height is greater than the 16inches indicated. Do I choose a longer down rod? Also is there a photo of how it looks at ceiling mount? I want to add a larger outside ring. Thank you

    Hi, we use the same mounting canopy as shown in the other lights. As to height, the light itself is 16" with the cages, the down rod can be made to any length, also the width/length of the light can be adjusted as needed.     Hi, the light with out any down rod is 16", it can be flush mounted, that will add another 2"-3". To be safe lets assume 20" overall. Logan
