The light fixtures are two Bega 2401s mounted on the beams linking the tops of the four masonry columns. The 2401s are mounted so light reflects indirectly off of the joists, purlins and underside of the metal roof. It's a very pleasant effect with enough variety of surfaces to thoroughly soften the light. If I were specifying today I would use LEDs.

The Begas are also used on the screened and open porches on the main house with some mounted for direct light and others for indirect.
