Puck? Strip? Xenon? LED? Help!

My electrician told me to pick out my under cabinet lighting. Easy, I thought. Ha!! So many types and choices. Here is what I know I want:
1) Warm light 2) Linkable 3) Dimmable 4) Slim.

I've included a pick of the basic cabinet layout and lengths. Puck has a pretty, artistic effect, IMO, and might be more flexible, but one area of counter is my desk, which might warrant the bar or strip type. Also, is xenon on its way out? Unless I could find an LED in the 2700k range, I'm not too open to it.

Cabinet color is changing, btw!!! It will be BM White Dove, instead of this butter color.

Daytime is very bright in some spots but light is blocked in other spots.

LED strip gives the best even lighting , IMO these do not require dimmers since if they are the only light on they work as s oft light anyway.

I'd vote for LED tape. It's really taken over the under cab lighting, for good reason; great uniform light on the work surface, easy and flexible to install.

I have LED tape lights and absolutely love them. No heat, invisible unless you're on the floor, plenty of light and last forever. I cannot think of one negative.

So do you buy one big roll and it can be cut up? I'm unclear on how they work, I guess.

Yes you buy a long roll and cut / solder to size.

It comes in a few different ways. You can get a long roll and connectors or some brands come in 2 inch and up sizes that can connect together. I would suggest going to a good lighting store to see the options and get advice. The big box stores are more limited in what they carry and the sales reps might not be as knowledgeable.
