Need help with my foyer

We would like to update our front/entrance foyer. Any ideas? I have attached some pictures to help. One picture shows the front door/bench and the other picture the backdoor.

Paint. Pretty hard to tell. Can we get a couple of more views please.

What about picking up the color line on the tile to paint the walls of just each entry way? That way the tile looks a choice rather than just there. Even if it's a shade of gray it would set the entries apart from the hall.

I'd paint the trim.

Choose a larger rug for the back door. The one in the front looks a good size.

I would look into installing a new front door with two side lights. That would center the door in the space . Looking at the tile it is sterile looking. Color would be great either wood or laminate. The bench could be replaced by a hall stand.
