Just purchased this setup and wondering what size/height mattress is recommended for both beds and the trundle?

We recommend that the top bunk mattress be no thicker than 9 inches, as you need at least 5 inches from the top of the mattress to the top of the guard rails. The bottom bunk does not have a recommended thickness, however, please be aware that the thicker the mattress the less headroom there will be. We recommend that the trundle mattress not exceed 7 inches in thickness.
