I have a 60" round table and I want to put a lantern style fixture over it. Does the rule of the fixture having to be half of the diameter of the table still hold true. The one I like is
17 1/2" in at its widest(the top) and 24" tall. My ceilings are 10'. I've looked at larger ones and they just look out of proportion.
