I took a look through your ideabook (LOL!!) and noticed three themes: green, beige, and yellow. (Your first pic of the yellow kitchen is one of my all-time faves!) Since you say you don't like green, that leaves beige and yellow.

Although I'm usually anti-beige, I can like it when used deliberately and not simply out if fear or indecision, and in your case with your country style cabinets I think it could work well. If you plan to keep the wood unpainted, that is.

There are so many other things to consider: floor, counters, blah, blah. What are your other finishes?

Thanks for your comments. Cabinets have recently been refinished. I plan on painting walls with a coordinating lighter color around my bay window area. New countertops of generic granite. ha! Don't know about color but wont be white or black. New smooth cook top to replace one with "dirty eyes" - have stainless steel and black appliances.

Something like this wall color would look nice with your cabinets. But, as mentioned, flooring, counter, furniture, etc all plays a roll in the paint decision. If you do this blue/hint green color, I'd just stick with white ceiling and white walls in the adjoining space. This wall paint color is: BM HC-133 Yorktowne Green

Paint should be the very last thing. Well, maybe backsplash. You need to get your appliances, flooring, countertops and then decide on backsplash and paint.
