Polishing the concrete actually grinds down the surface to reveal the aggregates in the concrete, which can be very attractive and interesting, I would recommend a professional concrete installer and polisher for the job, and to spec 3/8" aggregate in the concrete. The final step is to seal and finish the floor with concrete finishing products made for this application. It will reward you with a lifetime floor.

Thanks but I doubt you want to come from Montana to Ohio for a 275 square foot flooring job. I'm sure our builder has a sub that can do this for us.
