We had ours built by a local cabinet maker. Got exactly what we wanted and needed for our space, got to see the shop in which it was made, got to know the local crafstmen (thanks Jim and Miguel!) doing the work and supported the local economy, and cost was reasonable - going custom will not necessarily cost you more than a pre-made brand, depending on materials. Ours came in at less than many of the ones we saw in plumbing supply stores.
