I want to transition from a more rustic feel to a more contemporary/rustic feel.

We have dark brown leather living room furniture with darker wood pieces and I am thinking of painting the walls a blue grey with all white trim. Currently our floors are a light hard wood that in the the future we want to refinish and do a darker stain.

My question is, can I do a blue grey wall color . . .will it look nice with our furniture?
