Need Help with LIVING ROOM AREA Rug

I am trying to buy rug for living room. But I am not sure how to get color pop in boring looking room with drapes. The drapes are white background grey drapes with black circles and we have grey sofa and blue accent swivel.I am trying to add new color which will bring all together and still look nice. Do i need to go with neutral rug and add color accents or do i go with bright colored rug and add accents? Help is appreciated. I would like pretty colors and i find neutrals boaring.

Priyanka, I found it here on Houzz - and yes, it is pink. You can click the "More Info" link at the bottom of the rug to get information about buying it.

I like the rug you've posted too. Looks like it has similar colors to the ones I posted but just a different pattern.

I see you have a mixture of blues going on in your rooms, so I think I would bring in those various shades in the rug. Here are a couple I found that might give you a direction to take.

How about some teal/aqua carpet? I see this color around your room on the dining table, pendant lighting and on the vase on the half wall on the other side of the room. Something like this if you like ikat print.

Hi Mary I have looked the blues combination rug and I had that as option but I would like to introduce another color to the room so that I can add accents and also I am looking something with contemporary design or modern

Sorry - I didn't read closely enough. How about one of these? The second gives you more color options but I can see the first working in your space very well.

I like the idea of orange as your other color. It will go with the greys and blues in your space. I would go with an orange rug - like this one

Make sure the rug is large enough to slip under the front 1/3 of both sofas and extend past the ends by a foot or so. Bring your coffee table 18" or less from one of the sofas and let the other sofa have the end tables.
