Scrappy baby quilt

Here is a little quilt I threw together quickly for a former work colleague's granddaughter. I used scraps and some free fabric from Thousands of Bolts. They sent nine yards of the wrong fabric and told me just to keep it. I backed the quilt in Minky. It's in the dryer now. I just have to label it before I deliver it to grandma later this afternoon. It looks wonky in the photo, but it really is square.

Darling quilt, Lois! Lucky you with the 9 bonus yards of really cute material, too. I have never used minky - is it hard to quilt?

Sue, I have heard horror stories about quilting Minky, but I have no problem at all. I glue baste with Elmer's School Glue, and nothing moves. There are no puckers at all. I don't know how it would work with pin basting. The only issue is that the Minky is heavier to move around on my Tiara (sit-down quilting machine). I wouldn't want to do a very big quilt with it, but baby-size quilts are fine. Thanks for all your kind comments.
