I selected Berber carpeting for the cement floors in my finished basement Den. However, I am told Plush carpet is a better choice for added warmth and to match the height of the hardwood floor in the wet bar. Also, the salesman gave me a list of things to do too lengthy to list in this Post, i.e., remove the Flat screen TV from the wall?! Is Berber a poor choice for cement floors? Are options for padding limited with Berbers? Advice is needed and greatly appreciated.
