Pendant size over island

Our new island will be 120 inches long! It is set up to have 3 pendants above. I found some that I love, but they come in 11 inch and 14 inch... Is there some sort of rule for sizing..? Will the 14 inch look too large? Our ceilings are not as tall as in this photo.. ours are 9 ft.
