I will be remodeling a great room area: family room, kitchen, nook, and game room. I am drawn to dark flooring, say espresso and a similar wood island. I like white kitchen cabinets and built ins around a stone fireplace, as well as white floor trim and doors. My dilemma, my existing furniture: Shaker style coffee table, 2 end tables and a casual dining table all in cherry. Pool table is also cherry. Am I mixing too many different wood surfaces?
