Bed skirt alternatives

I purchased these beds for my daughter's a few months ago. After moving over the weekend and putting everything together I realize I'm not a bed skirt lover at all. I love the beds (canopy and headboard) but I am hoping there is an alternative to the bed skirt. I'm not concerned with concealing anything under the bed. I would like to cover the box spring. I'd like a clean look. The bedding on the pier 1 headboard is mostly white. The canopy has black, white, and pink.

Use a fitted sheet to cover the box springs.

a bed spread would cover both the mattress and the box spring.

Also, move the bed over toward the window, and out of the corner.

I'm not a fan of bed skirts either, frills etc but some bed skirts are so plain they look great better than seeing bed. Wayfair have huge selection

Most ready-made/store bought bed skirts don't look good. They're usually thin fabric, unlined & don't fit properly. A custom bed skirt is a great look. That being said, here are several sources for box spring covers (which are also a nice option).

Just google box spring covers..they are thicker than a fitted sheet some come in textured neutrals or colors...

Thank you for the suggestions. I will go with a box spring cover for both of the beds. I will also use the fitted sheet suggestion for my sons room since he has a sleigh bed (there's only a few inches of the box spring exposed).

I don't think I can move the canopy in the middle of the room because of the light but I will try it and see how it looks. She wants a lot of floor space so I know she really wants the bed against the wall.

The bed is fine on the wall, just move the dresser a little further away from it...Good Luck.

The last regular style bed skirt I had yellowed a lot and by the time the painters had finished in my house this Spring (2016) it also managed to get stained despite being off the bed in a plastic bag. I've had sometimes-visible-box spring ever since. My bed rails are wood, the head and foot boards are wood, so there's not really a need for a bed skirt to hide those, but a box spring cover is something I'm considering when I buy a new mattress set in 2017. I tried a fitted sheet and it didn't have the visual results I was hoping for.

A bedspread would work on the first bed.

Thank you for the bedding suggestion but I already purchased bedding for both beds (not pictured). I plan on ordering the box spring covers tonight from one of the links suggested. I'm crossing my fingers that will work for the clean look I'm going for. They both picked comforters out. This is their 1st time having their own rooms so I'm trying to allow them to decorate without heavy input from me (they are 12 and almost 10).
