Coyote Bush ?

It looks very close to the Coyote Bush - I looked at alot of pictures and the growing conditions are exactly the same. The only thing is that mine doesn't bloom - but maybe it will this Fall now that its more mature. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, Baccharis/coyote bush. It is dioecious--the male and female flowers are on separate plants. You may not have notice it bloom yet because flowering typically takes place around late September or October, I believe.

Funny thing - I just took a closer look this morning and I can see tiny buds developing. I guess it was too small last year to bloom. Thank you all for replying - it was driving me crazy looking at pictures online (not always correct). I've tried to keep it pruned like a tree but it doesn't want to grow that way. I'll be interested in seeing the flowers and more importantly the pollinators. What a great forum - I am usually in the garden all day, but with nighttime coming earlier I'll be participating more for sure.
